In this dynamic role, you'll serve expertly crafted beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure smooth operations behind the bar and/or at the table. Your energy and professionalism will help foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. This tipped position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside live music, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Duties (Bartenders) Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair. Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Process cash transactions efficiently while managing tabs and handling cash safely using POS systems. Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy hours to coordinate service flow during events like banquets or nightlife gatherings. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption responsibly in compliance with licensing laws. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly. Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing friendly, attentive service that encourages repeat visits. (Servers) Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the server stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, as well as keeping the areas well-stocked. Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy hours to coordinate service flow during events like banquets or nightlife gatherings. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables seamlessly. Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing friendly, attentive service that encourages repeat visits. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially within fine dining or nightlife venues. Familiarity with TOAST or similar POS systems for processing transactions accurately. Experience working with craft beers, wine knowledge, and craft cocktails is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a hospitality setting. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently through excellent time management skills. Experience in catering/banquet/cocktail settings is advantageous for occasional event-based service roles. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food industry knowledge are essential. TIPS certification is required by law, and anyone already certified is a bonus. (Only Bartenders) Proven bartending expertise with knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, and spirits.
