- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Adhere to all relevant food safety regulations and guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders ```Skills```
- Food handling: Knowledge of safe food handling practices to ensure the health and safety of customers
Hospitality:
Ability to provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests- Basic math: Proficiency in basic math skills for accurately calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
- Food service: Familiarity with food service procedures, including taking orders, serving food, and clearing tables
Catering:
Experience in catering events and managing large groups of customers- Cash handling: Skill in accurately handling cash transactions, including counting money, giving change, and processing credit card payments
Sales:
Ability to upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales revenue- Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or complaints Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change.
