Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team! This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced enviroment while maintaining high standards of service and quality. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS, Spot On POS systems, etc. Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beers, wines, and mixers; communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies. Assist in the set up and break down of bar areas for special events, including banquets and catering. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage recipe development. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and basic math skills are essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create an engaging atmosphere for diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Experience in the food industry, including retail math, catering, brewing, or food service roles is beneficial.
