Low Bar is looking for a talented, hospitality-minded Bartender to join our team and step into an established role behind the bar. Training & Transition Because this position is taking over an established bartender role, training will take place over approximately 3-5 weeks . This period is designed to give the new bartender time to learn Low Bar's service standards, cocktail program, workflow, and culture while becoming familiar with the team and our guests. During training, the new hire will work primarily in barbacking and serving roles , while also shadowing bartenders during service . This hands-on approach allows them to learn the operation from every position and gradually take on more responsibility behind the bar. Responsibilities Once fully transitioned into the bartender role, responsibilities will include: Prepare and serve craft cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with consistency and attention to detail Provide warm, knowledgeable, and engaging hospitality Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar Follow recipes, prep standards, and service procedures Demonstrate knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails Communicate effectively with guests and fellow staff Handle high-volume service while maintaining quality and composure Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities Maintain Low Bar's standards for presentation, cleanliness, and guest experience Contribute positively to the culture and day-to-day operation of the bar The goal is for the transition to feel intentional rather than rushed. By the end of the 3-5 week training period, the expectation is that the new bartender will be confident and prepared to independently run shifts while maintaining the quality and hospitality standards of Low Bar.
