Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Server/Bartender, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests! In this dynamic role, you'll be the heart of the action, delivering exceptional customer service while expertly handling food and beverage orders. Whether you're pouring drinks at the bar or serving tables in a lively restaurant setting, your positive attitude and attention to detail will shine through. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while ensuring every guest leaves happy and eager to return. Starting minimum wage = $5/hr + tips. Our server/bartenders make anywhere from $13.75 to $40 per hour. Responsibilities Take and accurately process food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover ensuring swift service. Make and serve drinks and meals with professionalism, maintaining a friendly and engaging demeanor at all times. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently, including processing payments and providing correct change. Clean tables so its ready for the next guest May also help pack the food into boxes as well Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with food handling regulations, including proper food safety protocols. Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanup during shifts, especially during busy nights or events like banquets or catering functions. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly, upselling menu items, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Collaborate seamlessly with team members to ensure smooth operations in both fine dining and nightclub environments, demonstrating strong time management skills. Preferred Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in nightlife venues like nightclubs or catering environments is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
