Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a dynamic and energetic Bartender/Server! In this role, you will be the heart of the customer experience, blending expertly crafted beverages with exceptional service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a lively setting while delivering top-tier service that keeps guests coming back. You get paid every Friday plus keep your tips. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Square POS, processing orders efficiently and responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep our offerings fresh and exciting. Provide attentive table service by taking orders, serving food and drinks promptly, and checking on guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Assist with bar duties during busy hours, including inventory control, restocking supplies, and handling cash register operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between food and beverage service during events or banquets. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry, preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of POS systems such as Square POS; experience with cashiering and processing cash transactions is essential but will train. Basic mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, spirits selection, and craft beer offerings and will train. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly. Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation practices. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills in a fast-paced setting. Banquet or catering experience is a plus; basic math skills are necessary for accurate billing and inventory management. Knowledge of restaurant operations including bar management, hospitality industry standards, and retail math is desirable. Join us to bring your passion for hospitality to life!
