Its voice is reverent about the table and irreverent about everything else: playful, a little cheeky, and always welcoming. IZZIT — an early-stage quick-service restaurant (QSR) concept built on the conceptual foundation of Panino's North Oaks Let's Eat Together Foundation — a 501(c)(3) working at the intersection of food security and social connectedness, putting the group's hospitality, operations, supply chain, and team to work for neighbors in need. Panino's North Oaks is its founding partner and donates 1% of profits. Role Overview The Bartender is the face of our bar and the host of the room. You make excellent drinks quickly and consistently, know the regulars and turn first-time guests into them, and keep the bar clean, stocked, and running smoothly through the busiest shifts. We're looking for someone with a real passion for hospitality, who loves taking care of people, and who brings solid knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer to every conversation across the bar. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience Greet every guest promptly and warmly; read the room and set the pace of service Guide guests through cocktails, wine, beer, and zero-proof options, and make confident recommendations Build relationships with regulars and remember names, drinks, and preferences Resolve guest concerns on the spot and let the manager know Drink Quality & Service Prepare cocktails and drinks to spec, with consistent measurement, technique, and presentation Serve bar guests and fill service-bar tickets accurately and on time, including during peak volume Follow batch recipes, garnish standards, and pour standards Contribute ideas to seasonal menus and specials Bar Operations Set up and break down the bar: stock, prep garnishes, batch, and complete opening and closing procedures Keep the bar and back bar clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift Help with inventory counts, receiving, and waste tracking Handle cash, credit, comps, and voids accurately in Toast, following company procedures Compliance & Responsible Service Check IDs and follow Minnesota liquor laws and responsible-service standards on every order Recognize and manage intoxicated guests with professionalism and care Follow health, sanitation, and food safety standards Teamwork Communicate clearly with servers, the kitchen, and bar assistants to keep service moving Train and support newer bartenders and bar assistants Support events and catering bars across Dixon Archibald Hospitality concepts as needed Qualifications Required 3+ years bartending in a full-service restaurant or high-volume bar A passion for hospitality: you take pride in making every guest feel welcome and cared for Solid knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer, including classic and modern cocktails, and the ability to explain them to guests with confidence Speed and accuracy under pressure without giving up quality or hospitality Experience with a restaurant POS and accurate cash handling Minnesota alcohol server certification, or ability to obtain before start At least 21 years of age Availability nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Experience with Toast POS Craft cocktail or bar program experience Event or catering bar experience Experience in a neighborhood restaurant where guests are regulars, not traffic
Pay:
$25.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
