Job Description
Job Summary Smack Shack/Burger Dive is seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team at our location in Roseville. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently managing bar operations. This role requires a strong knowledge of POS systems, food safety standards, and the ability to handle high-volume service. Bartenders will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using Toast POS system Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management. Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest behavior and adhering to legal drinking age regulations. Collaborate with kitchen and other front of house staff to coordinate food and beverage service. Handle food handling procedures including serving food items Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Uphold hospitality standards by creating an inviting environment for guests in various settings such as nightclubs or fine dining establishments. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems including Toast is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Experience in food safety practices and responsible alcohol service is essential. Knowledge of the food industry, retail math, basic math skills, and cash handling procedures are required. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
