Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily bar activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage a talented team of bartenders. Your expertise in food and beverage service, combined with strong leadership skills, will create an energetic atmosphere that delights guests and drives sales. Duties Lead and supervise the bar team to deliver outstanding customer service in both fine dining and nightclub settings. Oversee daily operations including POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure smooth transactions and accurate cash handling. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to prevent shortages or overstocking, utilizing retail math skills. Train staff on proper serving techniques, food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service. Ensure compliance with all health regulations, including food safety standards and proper sanitation practices for food service and beverage preparation. Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to facilitate large events, ensuring seamless service delivery. Monitor sales performance, implement upselling strategies, and promote beverage specials to maximize revenue. Handle cashing out procedures accurately, maintain detailed shift reports, incident logs, and ensure adherence to security protocols. Foster a positive team environment by motivating staff, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant or food industry management with a focus on bar operations; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and cash handling procedures. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated sales ability with experience in upselling beverages and promoting specials effectively. Solid understanding of food safety standards, food handling practices, and responsible serving regulations. Experience coordinating catering or banquet events is preferred. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally. Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling accuracy, and inventory management.
