Banter Brewing Co. Springfield, MO Banter Brewing Company is Springfield, MO's first Southside brewery. Our ideal candidate is someone that is dependable, meets no strangers, has the gift of gab, knows their craft beer, and cocktails, and provides excellent customer service. Our team members need to not only share these values but also focus on creating an environment where all our guests feel welcome and appreciated. This will be a fast-paced environment so strong communication skills, problem solving, and teamwork are critical to your success. We will provide training and information on each item we serve; their ingredients, how they were crafted and the stories behind them.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Check identification to verify proper age to purchase alcohol Educate customers on our unique offerings (Brewery, bar, craft cocktail, homebrewing, or taproom experience preferred) Promote Banter's core values always behaving professionally and appropriately Provide a positive and welcoming brewery experience for our guests Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment Maintains day to day functionality of the taproom, including: stocking, inventory management, bartending, washing glasses, sweeping, mopping, and other daily cleaning responsibilities Process financial transactions and make appropriate change as necessary Complete opening and closing responsibilities Comply with all state and local requirements for alcohol and food services

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to stand long periods of time (up to 8-10 hrs a day) Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays Must be able to lift up to 55lbs and move 100LBS with assistance Knowledge and previous experience with Square POS a plus
