Overview Join us for the highly anticipated return of the The Alinea Group's four-month culinary residency, led by internationally acclaimed chef Grant Achatz. This distinctive dining experience combines European culinary precision with Montana's elemental character, offering locally sourced seasonal menus in a stunning alpine retreat designed by award-winning studio Fettle. More than dining—it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience where thoughtful service meets the untamed spirit of the American West. Big Sky Resort joins an elite global roster alongside Tokyo, Beverly Hills, and Brooklyn, marking a bold new chapter for Montana's evolving cultural landscape. The Bartender plays a vital role in delivering an elevated and memorable experience for our guests through expertly crafted cocktails and attentive service. This position requires strong communication skills, a thorough knowledge of mixology, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be willing to work five days per week (40+ hours). Open availability is preferred. Responsibilities Create and serve cocktails and beverages that reflect the standards of the Alinea Group and Boyne Follow all alcohol-serving laws and safety protocols Provide guests seated at the bar with a full-service dining experience, requiring comprehensive food and beverage menu knowledge Communicate clearly and effectively with both front•and back-of-house teams Ensure proper ingredient quality and drink presentation throughout service Store and maintain bottles, mixers, ingredients, and glassware with precision and cleanliness Comply with health department requirements related to food safety and hygiene, including labeling and temperature/time protocols Resolve guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally Maintain a courteous, cooperative, and team-oriented demeanor at all times Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender or in a related role Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a chef-driven environment Clear communication and excellent multitasking ability Calm and efficient under pressure Ability to carry a tray with food and/or beverages
