Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of beverages and food items. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and accurately process cash and card transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Develop creative beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to delight guests and elevate the bar menu. Handle multiple responsibilities efficiently by managing time effectively during busy hours while ensuring attentive service. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during events such as banquets or nightclub nights, providing seamless guest experiences. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktail creation, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits. Proven experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced settings like fine dining establishments or nightclubs. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards. Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards within the food industry. Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while understanding retail math for inventory control.
