Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our dining room running smoothly! In this fast-paced role, you will play a vital part in creating memorable guest experiences by supporting the service staff, delivering hot dishes, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment. Whether you're delivering food fresh from the kitchen or clearing and setting tables for incoming guests, your hustle and dedication will keep our atmosphere welcoming and vibrant. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to build your foundational skills in food and beverage service while working alongside a supportive team committed to excellence. Responsibilities Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring presentation standards are met and special requests are honored. Clear, clean, and sanitize tables, chairs, and booths quickly between guest seatings to maintain efficient table turnover. Reset tables with clean dinnerware, glassware, and utensils following established dining room standards. Assist servers and bartenders by clearing empty glasses, plates, and trash from active tables throughout the shift. Keep service stations and bus carts fully stocked with clean ice, rollups, trays, and essential dining supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, bus stations, and kitchen pickup line in compliance with food safety regulations. Support team members with opening and closing duties, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and resetting the dining space. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service environment is preferred, though not required. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy trays, carry bus tubs, and stand for extended periods during busy shifts. Excellent time management and prioritization skills to keep pace in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset to collaborate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management. A positive attitude and strong attention to detail to ensure guests enjoy a seamless dining experience from start to finish.
