Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tools, and equipment in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give accurate change while managing retail sales transactions smoothly. Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as needed to keep the bar fully stocked for busy periods. Follow food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Assist with food preparation tasks related to beverage service, including garnishing drinks and preparing ingredients. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by serving beverages promptly while managing time effectively during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments, especially with beverage or drink service preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing inventory counts accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience as a barista or in the food industry involving beverage preparation is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
