With a rotating tap list, a curated bottle selection, and a passionate local following, we're more than just a bar — we're a neighborhood destination for great drinks and thoughtfully crafted food. Our menu goes beyond typical bar fare, featuring elevated, high-quality options designed to pair perfectly with our beers and keep guests coming back for more. Whether customers are seasoned hopheads or new to the scene, our mission is to guide them to the perfect pint while delivering exceptional hospitality and a memorable dining experience. Role Overview As a Beertender at our craft beerstro, you're not just pouring drinks — you're sharing knowledge, building connections, and helping customers discover new favorites. You'll be responsible for guiding beer selections, maintaining high service standards, and creating a welcoming, laid-back environment where beer is celebrated and people feel at home. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them through both our craft beer selection and food menu with confidence and enthusiasm Provide thoughtful recommendations on beer and food pairings to enhance the overall guest experience Pour and serve beer with precision, including proper glassware and presentation Maintain a deep understanding of our current tap list, including styles, breweries, ABV, and flavor profiles Develop strong knowledge of our food offerings, ingredients, and preparation to accurately describe dishes and answer guest questions Make recommendations based on guest preferences and offer beer samples when appropriate Ensure food orders are delivered accurately and promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Rotate and tap kegs, ensuring freshness and proper handling Keep the bar and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly Check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with state laws Educate guests about beer styles, brewing techniques, featured breweries, and how our food menu complements the beer program Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth, coordinated service—especially during peak hours What We're Looking For Passion for craft beer and a desire to share that passion with others Prior bartending or beer service experience in a high-volume setting preferred Solid knowledge of beer styles, breweries, and draft systems (Cicerone certification a plus but not required) Excellent communication and people skills — friendly, approachable, and patient Ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure during busy shifts Comfortable lifting kegs and performing some physical tasks as part of bar setup/maintenance Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays Must be 21+ and certified in responsible alcohol service (TIPS or equivalent) What We Offer A team that values beer, community, and hospitality Ongoing beer education and tastings Competitive hourly pay tips Employee discounts Flexible schedule Opportunities to grow within a respected, beer-forward brand If you know your IPAs from your saisons, love introducing people to new brews, and want to work somewhere where beer knowledge is celebrated — we'd love to meet you.
