PRBG Kitchen Staff, PRBG Service Staff, Event Coordinator Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Front House service professional that prides themselves on quality work and providing great customer service. Our unique restaurant is located inside our family-owned race track, Victory Lane Indoor Karting and Entertainment facility. We create a welcoming environment for adult, family and corporate outings. We have been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Our goal is to provide quality food, drinks and experiences to our customers. Duties include performing table service, making and pouring drinks, providing catering service to our corporate events, regular cleanup of tables, bar/restaurant, and end of shift closing/cleaning. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude, a good ability to multitask, the ability to work well under pressure, and be able to communicate successfully with kitchen and other service staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes. Experience in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with kitchen and service staff The ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised Be able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system Have a reliable means of transportation Flexibility to work morning shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, and enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff Engage with customers in a friendly manner Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients and co-workers Communicate effectively regarding caterings or any food and drink orders to ensure that everyone is on the same page and guests are receiving great service Communicate with coworkers at the beginning and end of shifts, to ensure all expectations of shift are met and information is exchanged seamlessly Help food preparation staff when necessary Adhere to ServSafe safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation Collect payments from tables and at the bar Communicate with Event Coordinators regarding catering and event needs Maintain a clean work space during shift and proper cleaning after shift Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
