The Bartender must have extensive knowledge of liquor mixed drinks, beer and wine. Thinking quickly, awareness of surroundings and monitoring patrons for signs that they have had too much alcohol are also skills required to do this position well. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming mannerCreate an atmosphere that allows guests to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxedTake accurate food and drink ordersSelect and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to customersCheck identification to ensure customers are legal age to consume alcoholProcess payments efficiently and accurately, as well as balance registerTake inventory and order supplies to ensure facility is well stockedPlan drink menu and inform customers about new drinks and specialsAvailable to work overtime when requiredOther duties as assigned by Manager Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.

Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
