Job Description

Osha Thai Kitchen and Sushi is Thai and sushi restaurant in Holly Springs, NC in the Downtown Village District. We are looking for employees that are excited about being a part of busy hospitality business in a growing town. The Bartender is responsible for filling drink and food orders for all bar and restaurant guests. In addition, the Bartender is responsible for ensuring guests seated at the bar have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepare drinks according to restaurant standard drink recipes accurately, quickly, and with minimal waste Verify customer identification to ensure the guest is of legal drinking age as well as comply with all other ABC regulations Monitor and observe guests and anticipate their needs and ensure their satisfaction Extensive knowledge of the menu and ingredients to assist guests in food and beverage selections as well as address concerns related to food preparation or dietary needs Remove guest dinnerware, replenish utensils, refill water glasses, and respond to other customer needs Maintain bar stock and supplies and communicate inventory levels to Management as necessary Wash and sterilize glassware and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards Process customer payment for guests at the bar
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Prior bartending experience required Knowledgeable of ABC regulations and complete Server/Seller Training Knowledgeable in beer, wine, liquor and wide range of cocktail recipes Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) Understanding of safety and health procedures Customer service and interpersonal skills Ready to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Basic math skills to handle customer payment and make change, as applicable Ability to work in standing position for extended periods of time
