The Position:
Lake Toxaway at our front door, the North Carolina mountains at our back door. And in between, a gathering place and restaurant for our guests. As a Bartender at The Greystone Inn, you are the face of our bar area, creating a fun and welcoming environment for our patrons. If you are reliable, work with a sense of urgency, and interact well with customers, you will be very successful in “wowâ€ing our guests.Additional responsibilities include:
Â- Provide friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel valued Â
- Having a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage menus, making suggestions and producing quality drinks Â
- Staying up to date with beverage trends Â
- Building good rapport with our regulars, keeping relationships professional and personalized Â
- Opening and closing responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Â
- 21 or older Â
- Experienced in one year or more of bartending experience Â
- Working well in a team setting, including with other employees including front and back end of the house Â
- Good sense of judgment and assessment in ability to interact with customers who are drinking Â
- Keen aware of surroundings and observational skills Â
- Good communication skills . Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities Â
- Ability to stand throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs. Â
