Bartender

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bartender to provide exceptional service in an upscale restaurant environment. Responsibilities include preparing cocktails, serving wine and spirits, maintaining bar cleanliness and inventory, and delivering a high-quality guest experience. Candidates should have strong bartending knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and previous bartending experience.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant and server area, including the floors, and storage areas
• Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of our menu and ingredients to answer questions and make suggestions
• Upsell and promote special drinks and promotions
• Handle customer complaints and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with fellow servers to ensure prompt and efficient service
• Perform basic math calculations to manage cash and credit transactions
• Meet sales goals by effectively promoting our menu offerings
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, contributing to a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Experience in food service, preferably in a fast paced dining environment
• Proficiency with a point-of-sale (POS) system and cash register
• Knowledge of the menu and ingredients
• Experience with retail math and basic math calculations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sales skills and a passion for promoting our menu offerings
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and focus during busy period.
• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must meet legal age and alcohol service requirements
