Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; process payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures. Develop and suggest beverage recipes or specials to attract guests and boost sales; stay current with industry trends in mixology and beverage presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, alcohol service regulations, and responsible beverage service policies. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and drink service during busy hours or special events like banquets or nightclubs. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments; hospitality industry experience preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and spirits handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts; strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining bar operations smoothly. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales upselling, and food safety procedures. Familiarity with food handling practices if serving light snacks or food items alongside beverages. Nightclub experience or banquet service background is a plus; certification in responsible alcohol service is desirable.
