The Parcel 191 In Downtown Rutherfordton. It is a full service, full bar and Chef driven Restaurant. Looking for a part time bartender with opportunity for full time. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and delivering outstanding customer service while adhering to all safety and health regulations. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to provide a safe environment for guests. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies, placing orders, and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during banquets or catering events. Stay updated on new beverage trends and menu items to enhance guest experiences. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Basic math skills are required for cash handling and drink preparation measurements. Familiarity with brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is an advantage. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests effectively. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
