East Coast Golf Management, Inc. (ECGM), is hiring a part-time Banquet Bartender at Sea Trail Golf Resort in Sunset Beach, NC! POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Banquet Bartender. This role will be involved in all aspects of banquet events, ensuring proper setup, service and breakdown.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure the venue is clean and tidy before, during, and after events. Ensure all equipment is in good working order. Assist with the breakdown of events after they are over. Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace. Communicate with event sales coordinator, front of house restaurant management and clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met. Handle any guest concerns or issues that may arise during the event, reporting to the manager on duty when necessary. Set up and maintain beverage stations and bars during food and beverage events. Prepare alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine and liquor, for event guests. Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for a variety of events, including but not limited to buffets, sit-down dinners, and hors d'oeuvres parties. Assist with the flow of events, ensuring that all guests are served in a timely and efficient manner. Adhere to state and federal regulations regarding alcoholic beverage service. Enter sales in POS system accurately when the event involves purchase transactions. Collects monies owed for food and beverage when the event involves purchase transactions. Clear dishes, glassware, flatware and linens once the event has ended. Communicate with event sales coordinator, front of house restaurant management and clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met. Handle any guest concerns or issues that may arise during the event, reporting to the manager on duty when necessary. Other duties as prescribed by management. The Banquet Bartender must have strong communication skills and be highly detail oriented. They should also have excellent customer service skills, as they will be interacting with guests throughout events and daily operations. They should be able to take direction from the event sales coordinator and manager on duty to effectively set up and ensure event operations.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
The Banquet Bartender may also perform other duties as required by management. Education/Credentials Knowledge of applicable local alcohol laws TIPS Certification or ability to obtain Certification within first 30 days Comparable alcohol education course may be substituted ServSafe certification is a plus Degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus Experience Experience with Lightspeed POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Experience in resort or golf course settings is a plus. Experience in a restaurant, banquet or event service role is a plus.

C WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires moving furniture regularly. The Banquet Bartender works in a demanding environment with multiple interruptions. The position requires standing for extended periods. The Banquet Bartender works in all properties owned by Sea Trail Golf Resort. Job duties may occasionally require travel between locations on the property. During busy events, they are under pressure to serve customers quickly and efficiently. Hours may include mornings, late evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
