Responsibilities Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems (Toast) Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to proper drink recipes and safety standards. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while maintaining balanced cash drawers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar, dining room, and kitchen stations. Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and guest relations to ensure a seamless dining experience. Manage guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to promote repeat business. Skills Extensive cocktail experience with knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, beverage presentation, and drink service techniques. Previous food service experience in restaurants or fine dining establishments; nightclub or nightlife experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tables or bar stations efficiently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts without compromising quality. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
