Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing orders efficiently while maintaining accountability. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to promote sales and elevate guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; assist with stock replenishment as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food and beverage service during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to ensure safety. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining or hospitality industry settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Experience serving guests in restaurant or banquet settings; catering experience is a plus. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with diverse clientele. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days; hospitality industry experience is essential for success.
