Job Overview - Bartender Are you someone who enjoys bartending and wants to be part of an exciting, growing company? Start your career with one of Nebraska's largest breweries. Kinkaider Brewing Company/Bierhaus Maisschaler is looking for professional, high-energy bartenders with excellent communication skills to serve bier, cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers. The bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. Responsibilities To succeed as a bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable. Serves patrons beverages in a positive and friendly manner. Provides information to help with beverage selections. Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner. Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude. Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Concludes experience by acknowledging choice of taproom and inviting patrons to return. Obtains revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
