Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming dining atmosphere while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and build rapport. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Manage inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering when necessary. Operate the POS system (Aloha POS preferred) for processing orders and payments accurately. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation as needed for bar service. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Proven experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell drinks and menu items effectively. Excellent guest relations skills to create memorable experiences for patrons. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food preparation techniques to assist in bar-related kitchen tasks when required. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest interactions.
