Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. The bartender will play a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience while maintaining food safety and responsible alcohol service. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, taking orders, and offering drink recommendations. Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Restock supplies as needed and assist with food service or catering when required. Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest behavior and adhering to all licensing laws. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, including nightclubs or banquet events. Experience Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, retail math, or food service is preferred. Fine dining experience, nightclub work, or banquet experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong skills in sales, customer service, and hospitality are essential. Knowledge of food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service regulations is required. Basic math skills including retail math and handling cash transactions are necessary for accurate billing and change-making. Experience in brewing or catering environments will be considered advantageous.
