A Bartender mixes and prepares cocktails and serves drinks to customers. Works with other wait staff in a bar or restaurant; checks to be sure that customers are legal drinking age. May work at private parties.
Mesozoic Tiki Bar is seeking a bartender who is passionate about hospitality, takes pride in their craft, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We're looking for someone who can deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and consistency behind the bar. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, detail-oriented, and enjoys creating memorable interactions with guests.
Core Responsibilities:
Guest Experience Provide friendly, attentive, and engaging service to all guests Create a fun, welcoming, and high-energy atmosphere Build genuine connections with guests while maintaining efficient service Cocktail & Beverage Service Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to house recipes and standards Execute all drinks consistently with attention to quality and presentation Maintain knowledge of the menu and make recommendations to guests Bar Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation throughout service Complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities Assist with bar prep including juices, syrups, garnishes, and other house-made components as needed Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs Teamwork Work collaboratively with fellow bartenders, servers, and management Support overall restaurant operations during busy service periods Contribute to a positive and professional team culture Standards & Expectations Cleanliness and organization are non-negotiable All beverages are prepared accurately and consistently Guests are treated with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality Ability to maintain composure and efficiency during high-volume service Reliable attendance and punctuality are expected Positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential Ideal Candidate Previous bartending experience preferred Strong understanding of cocktail preparation and bar service fundamentals Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace Strong communication and guest service skills Team-oriented and dependable Able to multitask while maintaining attention to detail Compensation Competitive hourly pay plus tips. Compensation will be based on experience and discussed during the interview process.
