Operate Toast POS system to process sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities through suggestive selling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bar stations, tables, and dining spaces, following food safety protocols. Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth service flow. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments and giving correct change. Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address inquiries promptly, and resolve any concerns professionally. Support sanitation standards by adhering to proper food safety practices during service. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours or special events such as nightclub nights or private functions. Evening and weekend availability a must Skills Proven cocktail experience with strong spirits knowledge and beverage presentation skills. Background in food service or restaurant operations with fine dining or nightlife experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport quickly. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously without sacrificing quality. Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, drink recipes, and proper serving techniques. Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing transactions and inventory counts. Food safety certification or understanding of sanitation standards within the food industry. Experience in food preparation or kitchen support roles is a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction.
