Job Description

Overview:
Canobie Lake Park is currently hiring Bartenders for our 2026 fall season. Join a Team of motivated individuals and help us achieve our mission of providing the highest quality entertainment experience for the best value in New England. The duties they perform are based on Federal and State employment laws, Canobie Lake Park personnel policies, Canobie Lake Park security policies and guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all State and Federal Laws when serving alcoholic beverages. Check all guests' identification and ensure they meet proper age requirements. Operate a cash register; receive payments from Guests or Team Members, make change, and issue receipts to guests accurately. Greet Guests, take Guest's orders, and deliver food and beverages in an efficient and timely manner. Provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast-paced environment. Maintain proper security of cash by understanding and following cash handling policies and procedures. Follow proper alcohol handling, sanitation, safety procedures, and maintain appropriate labeling and rotation of all beverages. Maintain a clean work area by removing trash and cleaning bar counters and equipment. Use proper judgment and, when necessary, refuse service of alcohol to guests who are intoxicated or disruptive. Must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities of a Food & Beverage Attendant and Cashier at Canobie Lake Park. Additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and be a supportive team player. A positive attitude and alertness is required. Must be patient, poised, and courteous while working with others. Must be proactive and safely conscious as well as able to interpret both written and verbal instructions. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions for a prolonged period of time. Must have the ability to respond and act quickly in various situations Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes, and excessive noise Must be able to stand and remain on your feet for prolonged periods throughout the shift, and be able to lift up to 50lb in weight.
