Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Interact with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Manage cash handling accurately, processing payments, and maintaining a balanced cash register. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary. Stay updated on current drink trends and menu items to enhance guest experience. Skills Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment management. Experience in the food industry, particularly in a nightclub or bar setting is highly desirable. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail for accurate transactions. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for managing transactions and inventory calculations. Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently. Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for those interested in craft beverages.
