This role is essential to keeping service running smoothly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, fully stocked, and well-functioning bar.

Responsibilities:

Support bartenders during service by keeping the bar fully stocked, clean, and organized at all times Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, garnishes, and other bar supplies throughout the shift Change kegs, monitor draft systems, and ensure proper beer line functionality Assist with basic drink prep tasks including batching, juicing, cutting garnishes, and prepping syrups when needed Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, removing trash, and resetting stations Polish glassware and ensure all service items are clean and ready for use Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning procedures Help manage inventory by notifying management of low stock or shortages Support bartenders and servers as needed to ensure fast and efficient guest service Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a barback or in a bar/restaurant environment preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Strong sense of urgency and ability to anticipate bartender needs Reliable, punctual, and able to work 4-5+ shifts per week, including nights and weekends Physically able to lift heavy items (kegs, cases, etc.) and remain active throughout the shift Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace Willingness to learn and grow within a bar environment
