Sushi by Bou is a modern omakase concept defined by intimate settings, thoughtful design and an energetic atmosphere. As we expand, we are looking for talented hospitality professionals to join our team and grow with us. Position Overview The Bartender pairs strong beverage service with an engaging guest presence, preparing cocktails, sake, wine and other beverages while helping shape the energy of each seating. The ideal candidate reads the room well, connects naturally with guests and works closely with the team to keep service coordinated. Pay $6.05 per hour plus tips. Responsibilities Welcome guests and create an inviting atmosphere throughout each seating. Prepare cocktails, sake, wine, beer and nonalcoholic beverages according to established standards. Guide guests through the beverage menu and offer recommendations and pairings. Take orders accurately, process payments and assist with broader front-of-house needs. Set up, stock and maintain the bar while monitoring inventory. Complete preparation, opening and closing procedures. Follow sanitation, safety and responsible alcohol-service requirements. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale hospitality setting, such as a fine-dining restaurant, luxury hotel or high-end cocktail bar. Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, sake and wine. Natural ability to engage guests and adapt to different personalities. Sound judgment and composure throughout service. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Willingness to contribute beyond the bar when needed. Responsible alcohol-service certification as required by local law. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
