Duties Prepare and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and consistency. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and issuing receipts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and responsible beverage service policies. Develop new cocktail recipes and beverage menus to keep offerings fresh, exciting, and aligned with current trends like craft beer, wine, spirits, and mixology techniques. Monitor inventory levels regularly, restock supplies as needed, and communicate stock shortages promptly to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events or busy periods, ensuring seamless customer satisfaction. Uphold all health regulations related to food handling, food safety practices, and responsible alcohol service. Assist in bar management duties such as scheduling shifts, training new team members, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere during nightclub or event settings. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or the hospitality industry. Extensive knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques, spirits, wine varieties, beverage recipe development, and craft beer trends. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Previous food service experience including serving food safely and managing cash handling accurately. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as change making and inventory counting; food safety certifications are a plus. Experience in catering or retail math is advantageous for managing large events or special functions effectively.
