What you'll do Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with flair and precision. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, particularly during banquets or special events. Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining a positive attitude. Stay informed about drink trends, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes to enhance the guest experience. Uphold responsible alcohol service practices to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons. Experience Proven experience in a bartending role within a fast-paced environment such as restaurants, nightclubs, or catering events is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures in the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters a welcoming atmosphere. Proficiency in basic math for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Familiarity with various POS systems is advantageous. Previous experience in fine dining or banquet settings is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
