Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage recipes, develop new drink offerings, and stay current on industry trends in mixology and craft beer. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders promptly, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies as needed, and monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible service. Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments swiftly during busy hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bar operations during peak times such as nightlife events or catering functions. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality venues with a strong focus on beverage service. Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering is preferred. Extensive cocktail experience with skills in beverage recipe development and mixology techniques. Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits expertise, craft beer selection, and food pairing principles. Prior food service experience that emphasizes customer engagement and efficient service delivery. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience working in the hospitality industry with a focus on food safety, responsible alcohol service, and food handling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or catering events.
