Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, particularly in nightlife settings and catering events. As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional drink experiences for our guests while ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and well-stocked. Engage with customers, providing friendly service and recommendations to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing retail math skills as needed. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service. Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet and catering events to ensure seamless service. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking usage to minimize waste. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and brewing techniques to enhance drink offerings. Requirements Previous bartending experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Basic understanding of retail math for handling transactions effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs. A passion for the food industry, with an eagerness to learn. Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws. Must have a server's license.
