Some days we're in jeans, grilling burgers like it's a backyard BBQ. Other days we're locked in on a plated menu and a bar that runs like a machine. Same story in the glass. Maybe it's a Belgian Tripel or a barrel-aged stout. Maybe it's a crisp pilsner that tastes like discipline. We respect style guidelines and technical brewing. We also believe a simple truth: if it tastes good, it's good. No fuss. No pretension. We're building the next chapter at Reno Public Market. This is an opening-team role. You'll help set the standard from day one. Our beer has taken top honors at the Great American Beer Festival, including Brewing Group of the Year. We want a bar crew that can match that level of care. The role A great barback makes the entire bar faster. Cleaner. Calmer. Bartenders stay guest-facing. Tickets move. The room feels effortless. You'll support the bartenders with set-up, stocking, cleanliness, glassware flow, and service support. You'll be in the middle of the action, and you'll learn the program fast. What you'll be doing You'll open and close bar support stations. You'll keep glassware polished and staged. You'll keep the bar stocked with what service actually burns through: ice, beer, mixers, garnishes, paper goods, and backup product. You'll keep the bar area and support zones clean during service, not just after. Floors dry. Mats placed right. Wells and under-bar handled with care. When the floor gets busy, you'll help where help is needed. Running food. Clearing and resetting. Keeping the bar team from getting pinned. What we're looking for You've got 3-12 months in a restaurant or bar, or you've worked another job where speed and details mattered every minute. You move with purpose. You notice what's low before anyone asks. You can take direction, keep your head, and communicate clearly. You can lift and carry up to ~50 lbs repeatedly (ice, cases, bus tubs, kegs). You can stand and move for long shifts. You're authorized to work in the U.S. Requirements (non-negotiable) 21+ only (this role supports alcohol service). Nevada Alcohol Education Card required : you either have it, or you get it within 30 days of hire . Pay + benefits
