POSITION SUMMARY

Hela's Cantina Bartenders are responsible for selling food items and mixing, and pouring drinks for guests in Hela's Cantina.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a current Alcohol Awareness Certification Bartending experience preferred Knowledge of popular beers, alcohol brands, and cocktails required Excellent English communication and customer service skills required Must be able to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide excellent and efficient guest service. Pour, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with the highest quality and consistency according to Rose standards. Using Point of Sale system to take food and beverage orders for guests in a timely manner. Accurately record and sell menu items. Knowledge of all bar menu items, brand selections, prices, and garnishes. Collect accurate payment from the guest and deposit the exact amount of sales. Maintain professional uniform and appearance standards. Use product knowledge to maximize sales and help guests make drink selections. Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with co-workers and supervisors. Monitor the alcohol intake of guests and make reasonable effort to prevent guests from becoming intoxicated. Check guest IDs to confirm guests ordering alcohol are at least 21 years of age. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Set the example by actively contributing to department and company goals. Clarify expectations and seek additional training as needed. Build quality into work. Ensure processes are consistent with quality objectives. Be aware of current quality levels versus target levels. Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity.
