Job Description
NOW HIRING
- BARN HELP East Bloomfield, NY We've recently transitioned into a private, boutique training facility and are looking to add a few dependable helpers to our routine. We care for a small group of horses with very high standards of care. We're looking for individuals who can fill our afternoon care taker position. Morning shifts and stall cleaning options are available as well.
- Afternoon Feeder (No Stall Cleaning) Arrive between 3:30-4:30 PM (season dependent) Duties include:
- Feeding grain
- Turning horses in
- Cleaning & refilling water troughs
- Filling water buckets
- Refilling hay nets Horse experience required but willing to train someone with limited experience
Compensation :
Hourly pay with a salary time cap. All our workers must start at $17.50 an hour and will be eligible for a raise after 2 months. Open to discussing a working position for aSELF-CARE
boarderRequirements :
- Must be 18+
- Reliable transportation & working cellphone
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions (daily changes)
- Reliability is mandatory (no call/no shows or same-day call-offs result in termination)
- Part-time only at this time
- Flexible schedule preferred (weekly changes), but consistent schedules can be discussed
