Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency with established recipes and presentation standards Engage with members and guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience Manage beverage orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, accurately processing cash and credit transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the dining experience Monitor inventory levels regularly, restock supplies as needed, and communicate shortages or equipment issues promptly Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by verifying legal drinking age and recognizing signs of intoxication Experience Proven bartending experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings with a strong foundation in mixology and beverage presentation Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beer styles, and cocktail recipes; experience in beverage recipe development is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism Previous food service or restaurant experience emphasizing hospitality industry standards Ability to manage time effectively during busy evening shifts while multitasking between serving drinks, handling cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety awareness This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about delivering exceptional service in a vibrant country club environment.
