Server/Bartender - Part-Time Coco Bella Restaurant & Bar | Hopewell Junction, NY Coco Bella is an intimate Caribbean-American restaurant and cocktail bar serving thoughtfully prepared food, handcrafted cocktails, and warm, attentive hospitality. We're looking for an experienced Server/Bartender who can confidently manage both table service and the bar while creating a welcoming, polished experience for every guest. Because we are a small restaurant, this is a hands-on hybrid position. The right person is comfortable moving between greeting guests, taking orders, preparing cocktails, serving food, maintaining the dining room, and helping the team wherever needed. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, knowledgeable service Take food and beverage orders accurately Prepare classic cocktails, house specialties, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages Learn the menu and confidently answer questions or make recommendations Enter orders and process payments using our POS system Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs throughout service Complete opening, closing, stocking, and side-work duties Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area Follow responsible alcohol-service and food-safety practices Work closely with the kitchen and ownership to keep service running smoothly Assist with private dinners, celebrations, and catered events as scheduled What We're Looking For Previous serving and bartending experience preferred Friendly, professional, and comfortable engaging with guests Working knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service Able to manage multiple tables and bar guests during service Dependable, punctual, organized, and attentive to detail Willing to help with all aspects of service in a small-team environment Available evenings and weekends Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 30 pounds Schedule Part-time evening and weekend shifts. Coco Bella is currently open Wednesday through Sunday for dinner, with additional opportunities for private events and catering. Compensation $16.00 per hour - tip credit, plus tips.
