Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations, including proper food handling techniques. Assist in managing inventory levels and placing orders for bar supplies as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, especially during banquets or catering events. Stay updated on industry trends and new cocktail recipes to enhance the drink menu. Skills Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours effectively. Excellent sales abilities to promote featured drinks and upsell menu items. Previous fine dining or nightclub experience preferred, with a solid understanding of hospitality standards. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling in the bar environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and ensuring accurate transactions. Experience in the food industry, including catering or banquet service, is a plus. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Familiarity with brewing techniques is an advantage for those interested in craft beverages.
