Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about menu options, and ensure an enjoyable experience. Manage bar operations efficiently by processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper sanitation practices. Keep track of inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and report shortages or maintenance issues promptly. Assist in developing new beverage recipes and experimenting with mixology techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Handle cash handling and retail math with precision while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beer, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Excellent customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
