Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options while maintaining high quality standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep our offerings fresh and innovative. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with ordering to ensure seamless service during busy hours. Handle cash handling procedures accurately, process payments swiftly, and balance registers at shift end. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service for events or special functions like catering. Uphold excellent customer service standards by actively listening to guest preferences and resolving any issues promptly. Assist in bar management duties when needed, including training new staff or supervising shifts. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of cocktail mixology, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development. Prior fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable; familiarity with hospitality industry standards is essential. Strong skills in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and food industry calculations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Demonstrated customer service excellence with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of food safety practices and food service procedures; experience with catering or large event service is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations. Basic math proficiency for cashiering tasks; retail math skills beneficial for inventory management. Hospitality industry experience emphasizing spirits expertise, cocktail crafting, wine pairing knowledge, and bar management skills preferred.
