Bartender! The River Pub is looking to add a bartender to our team! Experience is not necessary, but definitely a plus. We're looking for someone who: Provides great customer service Can work well in a fast-paced environment Is dependable and friendly Is willing to learn and be part of the team If you're interested, send us a message or stop in and talk to us! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all beverages are stored according to safety standards. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and assist in creating seasonal menus to keep offerings fresh and exciting. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy hours, ensuring efficient delivery of food and drinks. Skills Excellent customer service skills with the ability to read guest needs quickly and respond positively. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Ability to develop creative beverage recipes and contribute to menu innovation. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings; nightclub or catering experience is a plus. Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as change-making and inventory management.
