Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and tips. Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age laws and promoting responsible serving practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours at nightclubs, restaurants, or banquet events. Restock supplies promptly and assist in setting up catering or event-specific bar services as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the food industry; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Prior banquet experience or catering knowledge is advantageous for event-based shifts.
