In 1988, the company opened its first restaurant in Syracuse and has continued to grow to six locations serving delicious Bar-B-Que throughout New York State. We are currently looking for a Bartender to join our Syracuse team! At Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, fresh, homemade and high quality aren't just catchwords; they're our foundation. From our hickory-smoked Bar-B-Que and homemade salads and sides to our sauces and dry rubs, our commitment to quality is unyielding. HOW YOU FIT INTO DINOSAUR BAR-B-QUE
(Job Summary): The Bartender prepares and serves beverages efficiently, accurately, and according to recipe standards while delivering a warm, lively, and engaging guest experience. This role supports responsible alcohol service, keeps the bar clean and organized, and works closely with both Front of House and Back of House team members to ensure smooth service.

WHAT YOU DO
(Essential Functions) Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Mix and serve drinks according to recipe standards and guest preferences. Complete service bar tickets to ensure prompt drink delivery to tables. Provide friendly and engaging service to all guests by following Dinosaur's Steps of Service. Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service laws and company policies. Follow proper measuring and pouring procedures to ensure beverage consistency, quality and portion control. Accurately take guest orders and enter them into the POS Accurately process cash and credit transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures. C ommunicate effectively with all team members to support smooth service.
WHAT YOU KNOW
(Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Knowledge of basic bartending techniques, beverage preparation, beer, wine and spirits. Strong guest-first and hospitality mindset with ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs. Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
