Hourly + tips About Us Sweet Harmony Canal is a live music venue and event space in Canal Winchester, just outside Columbus. We host touring acts, private events, and weddings across our Concert Hall and Listening Room spaces, with a full bar and a laid-back, music-first vibe. The Role We're looking for a reliable, personable bartender to join our team. You'll be working shows, private events, and regular bar hours — serving drinks, keeping the bar running smoothly, and helping create a great experience for our guests and touring artists. What You'll Do Prepare and serve drinks, including craft/specialty cocktails, beer, and wine, efficiently and accurately Provide friendly, attentive service to guests during shows and events Handle cash and POS transactions (Toast) Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked bar Check IDs and follow all responsible alcohol service practices Work collaboratively with bar and door staff during high-volume nights What We're Looking For Prior bartending or serving experience preferred Solid working knowledge of classic and craft cocktails — you should know what's in a martini, Manhattan, Negroni, Old Fashioned, and similar Ohio Person in Charge (PIC) food safety certification not required to apply — we'll cover the cost of getting you certified once you're hired Reliable and punctual — this is a must, given our show-night schedule Comfortable working mostly afternoons, evenings, and weekends— some mornings and weekdays available Friendly, calm under pressure, and a team player Genuine interest in live music and hospitality a plus Schedule Part-time, mostly afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with some mornings and weekdays around our show and event calendar. Some private events (including weddings) start in the morning, and some fall outside our normal open hours, so flexibility is a plus.
